Human Growthhormone (GH) is a single chain, non-glycated, 191 amino acid hydroglobulin with a molecular weight of 21700Da and an isoelectric pI of 4.9. There are disulfide bonds between cysteine residues at sites 53 and 165 and at sites 182 and 189. About 75% of the growth hormone secreted by the anterior pituitary gland eosinophils is secreted in this form of molecular structure, and another 5% to 10% is secreted in the form of molecular weight 20kDa. The spontaneous secretion of hGH occurs in paroxysmal form between day and night, and usually occurs in the first slow-wave sleep period after physiological sleep. During the daytime, the rest seemed to promote the release of hGH, but the secretion form of hGH was affected by feeding, fasting, exercise and stress, but the basic rhythm was not changed. The secretion amplitude, frequency and total secretion of hGH are high in adolescence, while the elderly are on the contrary. Properties Human growth hormone prohormone is composed of growth hormones naturally present in bacteria that are linked to signaling peptides. The prohormones divide in the inner wall of the bacteria’s cells, releasing an end product identical to the natural growth hormone into the membrane space, and then only the outer wall of the cell is destroyed for collection, while the inner wall of the cell remains intact to ensure that there is little bacterial protein contamination of the end product.
